I have and will continue to pray about the matter with your wife. May the God of all grace show you more grace for this trial.
In the Beloved,

The HISTORIC BAPTIST SYMPOSIUM is a ministry of Morris Fork Baptist Church, Route 1 Box 117, Meadow Bridge, WV 25976.
My Pastor informed me about an hour ago that my wife
left his house early this morning to head back to
Minnesota, having expressed disappointment with him
and the church people. However none of our relatives
knows of her decision to return to Minnesota, so I
have to wait to confirm her safety and whereabouts.
She is under much emotional strain at this time, her
youngest sister having died a week ago, our
separation, and my unresolved anger (so she says).
Mostly I believe she has read too many so-called
Christian Counseling books that are poisoned with
psychology. She has counseled so many abused women
that she is certain that she, I, and my three grown
boys have been victimized. Sin is the whole problem,
not our "unresolved past," our parents, etc.
She may return when the counseling in Denver is set
up.
The counseling people are against the marriage of
psychology and the Bible. I am learning much through
this, and I trust it will all glorify my Saviour.
Thank you for your prayers. I am grateful that:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for
we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but
the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with
groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that
searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the
Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God. And we know that all
things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:26-28
